This week is Kerr’s Homecoming time. For Orchestra, that means celebrating. In Region Auditions on October 15, sophomore Tony Luong won  place in the 7th Chair, 1st Violin in the Philharmonic Orchestra. And that was out of 196 violins who auditioned in the Region 23 Orchestra as well.

The Orchestra will have a concert on November 19 at Tompkins High School, located in Katy.

Moving on…

Don’t forget about Movie Night this October 25. It will be in the Orchestra, and will begin at 2:30 PM and end at 4:30 PM. The featured film will be Tim Burton’s iconic film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Concessions will be sold, so you do not have to worry about bringing in your own food. Please visit and enjoy the Christmas air, even if we are a month away.
