FBLA Officers Meet To Outline Upcoming Plans
The officer team gathers around the wooden conference table and begins looking at their agenda for the week. They receive updates on the FBLA Area V Fall Workshop and discuss other upcoming chapter activities, like the general meeting and social. “We meet every other week to make sure we are prepared as a team and as a club to move ahead with our activities,” Casey Nguyen said. “By notifying all the officers about current events, we make sure everyone is coordinated.”
Future Business Leaders of America officers held their bi-weekly meeting after-school in the business center on October 6. They discussed the content of their next general meeting on October 27, new products for the Kubby Korner, and the venues for their fall social. They also made logistical arrangements for the FBLA Area fall workshops in which students’ attendance will qualify them for entry into the competitions in January. With a significant increase in members this year, the officers must arrange more accommodations.
