TAKS testing will begin on March 1 with the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English Language Arts test.
Juniors need to pass the test in order to graduate.
The Exit Level ELA retest will also be given this day for seniors who did not pass last year’s test or who were classified as sophomores last year.
Seniors who have already passed this section of the test will arrive at 11:45 AM.

Students taking the exam will be permitted to read a book once they have completed the test, but are not allowed to work on PAKS or any other school-related assignments.
Sack lunches can be picked up in the cafeteri before the end of advisory at 7:35 AM STudents will eat lunch in their testing locations.
