Band Hosts Jazz Festival
Band hosted the Alief ISD Jazz Festival on Saturday, March 5. The event started at 8 am and lasted to 7 pm.
The festival was with other Alief High schools like Elsik, Taylor, and Hastings. It was also played by Waltrip, Willowbridge, John P. Stevens, Willima H. Taft, Atascocita, Heights, Westside, and Raul Yzaguirre high schools.
The festival was Jazz II’s first jazz festival.
To close of the performance Alief ISD All-Star Jazz Band played followed by the Lamar University Jazz Orchestra.
