Book Club President Speaks Out
Adding On – The meeting was last week, but more information has surfaced after talking with Mary Bongah, the president of the club. There were many topics that was discussed at the meeting, including mental health. “I think the meeting went very well”, Bongah said.
Even though the meeting was last week, after talking with Mary Bongah, there was more information that is now known. During the meeting the club played a Kahoot and had discussions about the book, along with “mental health and factors that play into the struggles we face every day.” Not only that, the club has decided their next book, “The Hate U Give.” There are many more fun activities planned for the next book, and the upcoming meeting!
