The University of Texas at Austin’s department of computer science is offering nine residential and three virtual summer camps. One includes a one-week summer academy for high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Here, students are able to experience hands-on activities in learning computer science. Additionally, the Academy for Women and Academy for All are both free, week-long academies for students entering grades 10-12 in the fall 2022 school year. Both academies focus on diversity as well as STEM and allow students to explore the world of computer science. There are also tuition-based academies such as Academy for Robotics, Academy for IOS App Development, and Academy for Game Development that is available to students entering grades 9-12.
