State funds SATs and ACTs for juniors

Students can take college entrance exams this spring for free, thanks to the state of Texs.

Available to all juniors, the Texas College Preparation Program (TCPP) released vouchers to take either the ACT (with or without writing) or SAT free, in the spring or summer. The vouchers only cover the registration fees associated with the exam.

The eligible test dates are as followed:

ACT: April 9 (registration ends March 4th) and June 11 (registration ends May 6th)

Story continues below advertisement

SAT: May 7 (registration ends April 8th) and June 4 (registration ends May 6th)

For more information or to receive a voucher, see your counselor.  Vouchers are limited.
