FBLA To Attend Area V Workshop

Future Business Leaders of America attended the FBLA Area V Fall Workshop at Seven Lakes High School on October 23 from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm to meet with today’s business leaders and discuss various topics related to their competitive events.

Attendance at this fall workshop and a $10 fee were eligibility requirements for members to compete in the FBLA competition at the district, state, and national level. Members were expected show up in business attire– which includes, but is not limited to, slacks, blouses, pencil skirts, closed shoes, and ties.

Kerr FBLA members rode a bus from Kerr High School to the venue. They met guest speakers ranging from entrepreneurs to business leaders to professionals in the field of business.

“The FBLA Area V Workshop is an event where all FBLA clubs around Houston gather to one spot,” Parliamentarian of the Kerr chapter of FBLA Duyen Bui said.

This social-networking event created a chance for local FBLA chapters to interact and interconnect.
