NAHS Visits Cactus King and Texas Art Asylum

On October 20, 2D artists took a field trip to the plant store, Cactus King, to collect reference photos of desert plants, which they will use to create artwork to enter into the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art contest. After photographing cacti, the artists visited the Texas Art Asylum— a thrift store of vintage artworks and craft supplies.
