The choir students in the highest level of choir, known as chorale, are practicing for an upcoming UIL. Pre-UIL is held Thursday, March 22. The actual UIL is April 17 or 18. Both girls and boys are doing warm ups in order to begin their songs.
Girls chorale are warming up their voice, the warm up is called bubbling
Ms. Winslow is working with her students to practice for their UIL songs Hello Girls by Pfaustch, Tota Pulchra Es by Durufle, and The Lake Isle of Innisfree by Daley.
They’re doing voice warm ups to begin singing their songs.
Boys chorale are looking over their songs Sam Was a Man by Persichetti, O Manum Mysterium by Ramos, and Ching-a-Ring Chaw by Copland.
Mr. Bonilla is working with his students to sing their songs, too.
They all are practicing for the upcoming UIL, looking over song lyrics and memorizing their verses.
Reading each verse carefully, they mimic their pitch to correspond with the piano keys Mr. Bonilla is playing.
