Yearbook Staff Update

Written by Jhoana Fulgencio

The Kerr yearbook staff is working diligently everyday to produce a yearbook even better than the last. The photographers, writers, and designers all work together to create the different spreads in the yearbook, as well as keeping up with the events that come up throughout the school year. Some of the activities that we have taken pictures of include club rush meetings, band and orchestra performances, choir concerts, and many others.

Regarding yearbook sales, we are also selling senior packages. So, if you’re a senior and want to save some money, don’t be afraid to contact any yearbook member to place an order for a senior package. The biggest package we’re offering is $170 and includes the yearbook, senior class t-shirt, Homecoming Game and Talent Show tickets, senior prom ticket, and prom guest ticket.

In addition to working on the yearbook, we also raise money to help pay for the cost of going to the JEA (Journalism Education Association) Convention in Dallas, Texas in November. Our next fundraiser is going to be a Chick-fil-A Night on October 25, so don’t forget to go and buy some Chick-fil-A to help support Kerr’s journalism staff!
