2016 Alief high school mock election results announced

A total 5478 students across all five Alief High Schools voted in the high school mock election. The results were revealed Tuesday, November 8. Here are the results:

Gary Johnson – Libertarian Party: 7.8% (454 students)

Hillary Clinton/Tim Kaine – Democratic Party:

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
