Art student Emmanuel Valencia, who won a Gold Key at this year’s Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, has been chosen to have his award-winning artwork displayed in the Archway Gallery on Dunlavy St. in Houston along with several other Alief students’ work.
The artist reception is Thursday, Feb. 25, from 6-8 pm.
Valencia is eligible for a Scholastic National Award later this year.
