Speech and Debate to meet Feb. 16

February 16, 2016

Speech and Debate will be holding a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, February 16, after school.

The tournament results, Debate-a-Thon, UIL, State, and District will be discussed.

All members should attend the meeting.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
