Speech and Debate judge training meeting Jan. 29

January 29, 2016

Judges for speech and debate will be trained at a meetingon Friday, January 29.

Students who are volunteering as judges for the Speech and Debate tournament on Saturday, January 30, need attend the after school judge training meeting if they did not attend on Tuesday, January 26.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
