Chayanne Cabrales, 9th Grade
“Try studying with a friend, either after school or during class or over the phone. Because to have someone to interact with really helps you focus, and you can learn from each other, and help each other so you don’t have to ask the internet or waste time researching when your partner may know the answer.”
Abenether Yonas, 10th grade
“For me, I like listening to music while I study; it helps me remember things. And another thing is, when you’re studying don’t just like read over the subject. You have to keep reading it over until you fully remember.”
Anthony Hoang, 11th grade
“Well, making flashcards and highlighting your notes. Because if you’re going to need to memorize something important for a test or something, highlighting your notes really color coordinates information in a way that’s easier for you to remember and making flashcards just makes sure you memorize it.”
Bennett Siwinski, 12th grade
“Try your absolute hardest not to get distracted. Because once you’re distracted you’ll do other stuff and when you do other stuff you procrastinate, and when you procrastinate, you don’t get work done.”
Samuel Bolting, 9th grade
“Don’t procrastinate. Because before you know it the studying date will come up, and you won’t be prepared, and you’ll get a bad grade.”
