Get plenty of rest the night
before your donation.

Eat a healthy meal and stay
hydrated (at least 16 oz. of water).
During:

Use Applied Muscle Tension:
Alternately contract, then relax
muscle groups in the body.
Ex: Tighten the muscles of the
legs and butt for about five
seconds, then relax and repeat.

Just relax!
After:

Sit and have a snack and a
drink for at least 15 minutes.

Stay hydrated!

Avoid any heavy lifting,
strenuous activity, or vigorous
exercise for the remainder of
the day.
