Free vaccinations on March 20

On Thursday, March 20, Kerr will provide free vaccinations for college-bound juniors and seniors in the nurse’s office.

For those who need vaccinations, forms has been sent to their advisory. Students are to bring their forms completed and signed to Nurse Carol Wiley on the day of the vaccinations.

The Meningococcal shot (MCV4) is especially important because it is required by the state to attend college. Normally, the shot cost $160, but the Care Van Program and Houston Department of Health and Human Services will make it free for students.

The time students can come to take their shot will be announced the day of.
