Green Week kicks off on Feb. 10

Student Council is hosting Green Week from Monday, February 10, to Friday, February 14. Throughout the week, there will different themed days to relating to conserving energy and being green.

Students can earn points during lunches by bringing facts pertaining to the theme of the day or answering trivia questions.

The different dates along with the theme for that date are listed below.

  • Meatless Monday: Students are asked to eat at least one meatless meal.
  • Travel Light Tuesday: Students are asked to travel light by taking the bus, carpooling, walking, or biking.
  • Waste Not Wednesday: Students are asked to conserve energy by turning off the water and lights when not needed.
  • Green Thumb Thursday: Students are asked to wear green in order to
  • Floral Friday: Students are asked to dress in floral print and/or appreciate nature by planting flowers and watering plants.
