Seniors voting on prom themes until Jan. 24

January 23, 2014

Class of 2014’s Prom Committee has narrowed it down to four prom themes. The themes are Arabian Nights, Corinthian Courtyard, Heaven on Earth, and Red Carpet.

Seniors can vote by visiting the group page on E-Chalk. Voting ends on Friday, January 24 at 11 PM.

The winning theme will be announced on Monday, January 27.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
