Class of 2014 Prom Committee has chosen venue

December 2, 2013

The senior class Prom Committee has selected a venue for this year’s prom.

The venue is Safari Texas Ranch, located on 11627 FM 1464, Richmond, Texas 77047. It will be held in the Magnolia Ballroom.

Prom will be held on May 10, 2014 from 7 PM to 12 AM. The attendance count will go up to 300 guests. Themes will be voted on on a later date.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
