Homecoming decoration meetings start Nov. 7

November 6, 2013

Student Council is asking students to stay after school on the following dates listed below to help make decorations for the upcoming homecoming dance.

Dates:

  • Thursday, November 7
  • Friday, November 8
  • Tuesday, November 12
  • Thursday, November 14
  • Friday, November 15

The meetings will take place in the Science center after school until 4:30 PM.

Students who stay and help will be rewarded with points.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
