TAKS coming up next week

April 19, 2013

Texas Academic Knowlege and Skills (TAKS) tests are on Tuesday, April 23, through Thursday, April 25, for juniors.

Next week starts with Math TAKS on Tuesday, Science TAKS on Wednesday, and Social Studies TAKS on Thursday.

Students will be dismissed at regular time on Wednesday due to TAKS testing.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
