Meningitis vaccine required for those to take dual credit

School records indicate that a majority of students have a recently expired or soon-to-expire meningitis vaccination.

It is part of state law in Texas that a meningitis shot is required before taking a college class, including dual credit.

An opportunity to receive the shot for free will be available soon to those who get the needed paperwork from Nurse Carol Wiley.

If you are taking dual credit classes, either arrange to get the shot in the next couple of weeks with your doctor or go see Nurse Wiley immediately to take care of this.
