FBLA first state payment coming due

February 5, 2013

For Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members, the first payment of $75 for state competitions will be due Thursday, February 7.

Members who have placed in district will be allowed to proceed to the State Leadership Conference (SLC) hosted in Dallas this year.

Members who have met these requirements and wish to advance to state must confirm their attendance to SLC with Dorris Curry in the business center by Wednesday, February 6.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
