Best Buy offering Scholarship Program

January 30, 2013

Best Buy will be giving out scholarships to students in grade 9-12 in the United States and Puerto Rico are eligible.

Students who demonstrate good grades, commitment to community service and/or work experience are eligible to apply. Over 1,000 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
