More students from Kerr will be part of the All-Alief Honor Band than from any other school.

On October 30, band students from each high school tried out for the band and 28 students from Kerr were chosen. They will perform a concert on January 22 at Taylor High School.

“We’ll be practicing the Friday [before the concert] all night and then all morning [of day of the actual concert],” said Julio M., band president. “There’s only two rehearsals.”
