The Culture Shapers art competition results were announced on October 31, with one of the possible 60 winners coming from Kerr High School.

Senior Amy Mai, who entered in several different art projects, placed for her E-Media entry. Mai submitted her designs for Cadre Kerr’s Season for Abstract Existence to Culture shapers. Her entry may be viewed on the Culture Shapers website.

 “The other pieces I entered, I worked extra hard on them, and they didn’t get placed,” Mai said. “While I pretty much didn’t even want to submit an e-media piece, but I did it anyways, so good thing I did.”
