NHS collecting for food drive

National Honor Society has begun to collect canned foods for their annual food drive.

NHS is asking all students to bring nonperishable food items to the Foreign Language center by Friday, December 21. These may include packaged and canned fruits, vegetables, soups, meats and ramen noodles.

Students who are members of NHS may also earn points for donating canned foods. Every three cans brought in will equal one point.

All canned goods will be donated to the House of Amos, an non-profit organization that aims “to serve people who lack the basic necessities of life such as food, clothing, education, medical direction and other needs.”
