Gym preparing to host basketball tournaments

October 18, 2012

Gym is hosting intramural sports after school in which students can form teams to participate. The sports rang  from volleyball to soccer; this time it is basketball.

Jorge Diaz hints that the tournament will begin on the second or third week of the second term, so prepare and assemble your teams befor hand.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
