Students for Humanity to hold movie themed Lock-in

October 16, 2012

Students for Humanity will be holding a lock-in on Friday, November 9.

“It’s going to be a Movie themed night,” said Sponsor Steven Levine.

The event will include films, a DJ, flash mob, video game room, and more. The Gym will be open during the night. Food and drinks will be sold throughout the night.

Tickets will be $12. The lock-in begins at 7 PM and ends at 7 AM. Check in is from 7 to 9 PM, and after 9 no one is allowed in. A parent must check you out if you want to leave early.

We all shared a moment of reflection afterwards and congratulating ourselves on the behalf of giving the mentees a fun time. "I'm glad we were able to give them something to look forwards to," Anthony Ngo said.
Pals Have Game Time
Merry Christmas! Ashley Michelle Chavez Carrillo and Sharon Naomi Piedrasanta enjoy festive treats. They stayed afterschool for NAHS celebration. "This is so delicious, and I’m so happy to be sharing it with my best friend," Piedrasanta said.
NAHS Takes Christmas
Bring Your Dish: ASA and Desi Club officers set up tables for members to enjoy the food. The cafeteria was cleared out, and the tables were arranged in a “U” shape to create a space for everyone to socialize. “It was a bit difficult setting everything up during fourth period, but we managed to finish in time,” Desi Club president Meerab Arif said.

Staying Prepared: Counselor Laura Tully speaks to seniors about applying for FAFSA/TASFA. Students are required to complete the form since it is a requirement for graduation. "Know that we're here to help," Tully said.
