Students for Humanity to meet every Thursday
October 16, 2012
Starting next week Students for Humanity will meet on Thursday, October 25.
The meetings are held after school in the Social Studies Center from 2:30 to 3:30.
The club is currently preparing for the lock in on Friday, November 9.
“Anyone is welcome,” said Sponsor Steven Levine.
In the past the club has donated to groups such as Doctors without Borders and spear headed groups such as Invisible Children.
“The main goal is to raise awareness of issues that not only affect Americans but people all over the world in a humanitarian way that tries to educate people and also help them financially,” said Levine.
