Kerr offers driver’s education

On September 27, driver’s ed have officially started for Kerr students.

“I’m so glad Kerr offers Driver’s Ed so now I won’t have to wait until I’m 18 to drive,” sophomore Rachel M., said.  

Students are required to stay after school once a week from 2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., even though the work can be completed from home.”Driver’s Ed helps teach students the basic learning skills about driving and I am glad that Kerr offers it because it means that they are taking precautions for their students by making them good drivers which can protect their lives,” sophomore Sonya D., said.This nine-week course was approved by the Texas Education Agency and the Department of Public Safety for the State of Texas, counting as a high school elective credit, ending on December 1.
