The Math center continues to hold after-school tutorials for those students who need help for their classes or who would like assistance in studying for the upcoming math TAKS test.
The math TAKS test will be taking place on April 24 for sophomores and on April 25 for juniors. Although April 25 is on a Wednesday, there will not be early release due to testing.
Both sophomore and juniors received a practice TAKS packet on Tuesday at the mandatory TAKS Blitz Seminar as a way of preparing for the Mathematics TAKS test.
The packet must be finished by April 23 and turned in for a grade for those students currently enrolled in a Math class. For those who are not currrently taking a math class, the packet is simply a way of studying for the test.
