Computer Science students finished the day’s events at the UIL District Academic meet with two individual medals and second place team medals, rounding Kerr’s point total to 299. Kerr took second place to host team Foster High School in the school sweepstakes competition.

Tin V. placed second and Joe D. tied for third in Computer Science.

In Friday’s speech competitions, Denitza D. took sixth in Informative Speaking; Cameron C. placed sixth in Persuasive Speaking; and Jamarcus L. took sixth in Poetry Interpretation.
