Student holiday Monday; staff workday

February 19, 2012

Monday, February 20, is a holiday for students in Alief ISD.

Teachers and staff will have a professional development day. Kerr staff will report at 7:45 AM.

Classes will resume at the usual time on Tuesday, February 21.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
