Goals
The goal of Chess Club is to encourage others to join the hobby either casually or competitively and make people good enough to beat the everyday challenger.
Events
They have yearly district tournaments with other schools in Alief, from elementary through high school.
Officers
The club president is Hannah Bolting, the vice president is Samuel Bolting, and the captain is Rodney Deransburg.
Membership
You can join by simply going to the computer science room (412) after school on Fridays. They do not expect you to attend the club every week, but they encourage members to come as often as possible.
