End-of-course exams Dec. 4-7

Next week will a busy time for underclassmen. Throughout the week there will be multiple end of course testing days.

Starting December 4, freshmen will be taking their English I EOC. The biology EOC will follow after on Tuesday. English II and Algebra I EOC’s will both be on Wednesday. Because of testing, there will be no early release that Wednesday. On Thursday, the U.S. history students will take their EOC, concluding the last day of testing for the week.

Following hard sectional training, the band gathered for a full ensemble session, where they improved their synchronization and togetherness as a whole. Getting that time to work together as a whole really helps us bond and perform at our best, Raiyyan Khan said.

Voices of Alief Hosted a Meeting
Sip and Type Erica Carranza, Sarah Abi Saab, Abigail Nguyen, and Leah Ghebrelul meet up at Kims Tea House afterschool on Tuesday to prepare for a mock round on Thursday. During their time there, they researched the impacts of AI on disinformation. Im not the biggest fan of this motion, but Im still excited, Nguyen said.
