Librarian Jean Wu missed the first day of school at Kerr this year for the first time in the school’s history.
On July 19, Wu fell near the Math Center, breaking both of her wrists. The injuries kept her at home for 10 weeks. She is expected to return to Kerr on October 4 but is not allowed to lift anything heavy.
In celebration of her return, students of Kerr have created a banner that is in the library and is open to all students and faculty to sign.
“She constantly gets email from Kerr staff [members] so she knows about what’s going at school,” said Jung Lee, assistant librarian. “We made a banner, because she said she didn’t want any big surprises.”
