Pumpkins yearning to be carved

Art Club will be hosting a pumpkin carving event on Monday, October 31, after school in the art room from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.

The event is limited to 40 people and there is a $5 fee. Participants must turn in their money in to sponsor Janine  Hughes before the day of the event.

Templates will be provided or you may bring your own. Hughes will also demonstrate how to use Photoshop to make your own template from a photo or image file.

Merry Christmas! Ashley Michelle Chavez Carrillo and Sharon Naomi Piedrasanta enjoy festive treats. They stayed afterschool for NAHS celebration. "This is so delicious, and I’m so happy to be sharing it with my best friend," Piedrasanta said.
NAHS Takes Christmas
Bring Your Dish: ASA and Desi Club officers set up tables for members to enjoy the food. The cafeteria was cleared out, and the tables were arranged in a “U” shape to create a space for everyone to socialize. “It was a bit difficult setting everything up during fourth period, but we managed to finish in time,” Desi Club president Meerab Arif said.

Staying Prepared: Counselor Laura Tully speaks to seniors about applying for FAFSA/TASFA. Students are required to complete the form since it is a requirement for graduation. "Know that we're here to help," Tully said.

Geared Up: News reporter Brooke Kushwaha interviews Senior Iqra Naveed. Kushwaha asked questions about Naveed’s college application and what she is deciding to do after high school. “I wasn’t expecting anyone to interview me at the event, but it was fun,” Naveed said.
