FEMS and STEM officers, and new members joined together for their first general meeting where they outlined many new upcoming activities and important information. “I had so much fun,” said Dai.
FEMS in STEM kicked off its first general meeting on Tuesday, September 16, in the biology lab. After school, club officers and new members played various fun icebreakers to encourage everyone to get to know each other. Officers then outlined new volunteering opportunities, upcoming events, and important information. Concluding the meeting, new members were able to participate in an experiment, extracting DNA from a strawberry.
