Seniors Take Yearbook Photos

Seniors Head On In. Alison Ramos¹² waits for her turn to be photographed by photographer Jeff Grass. After a long wait, she finally made it to room 333 for her picture. “It was pretty surreal because I wasn’t sure what to expect or whether I should smile. I had originally planned not to smile since I usually look awkward, but after finishing the photos, I ended up liking the ones where I smiled the most,” Ramos said.

Senior photos were taken on August 28, held in rooms 333 and 334. Seniors were sent to room 334 first, where they would sign in online and wait for gowns to be available.

Graduation gowns were low in availability, leading many students to wait for more than 30 minutes to get their gowns fitted. After being assigned a gown, Seniors would head to room 333 to get their picture taken by photographers Marc Nathan and Jeff Grass.

Seniors would be given an option of whether or not they would be taking a second batch of photos while holding props after taking their professional photo for the yearbook.

The Finale! Key Club President Taylor Nguyen took the stage to recognize the outstanding senior members who dedicated 100 hours of service to earn their graduation cords and certificates. This year, thirteen seniors achieved this impressive milestone. “Congratulations to all seniors!” Nguyen said.
Science Banquet Holds End-of-Year Banquet
CFA First Cords! Club sponsor Jacob Lazarou, Vice President Ruqayyah Yakubu, and Secretary Bao Luong distribute cords to graduating seniors and outstanding members of the year. The ceremony was a special moment to honor the dedication and hard work of each member throughout the year. “This year has been incredible—thank you all for everything you’ve done!” Lazarou said.
