SNHS Hosts Last General Meeting

SNHS ended the year with their last general meeting in the Biology lab on Monday, April 14. Officers discussed future officer positions and included a form, encouraging members to apply. They ended the meeting with an experiment dealing with DNA extraction. Students got to extract DNA from strawberries and bananas using a buffer solution, rubbing alcohol, and a coffee filter.

NHS Hosts General Meeting
Coming To An End: SNHS announces cancellation of their last Young Biologist Program on their Instagram story. The story was posted on Friday, April 11 after school to notify members. "The Microbiologists decided to cancel because of all the testing that is happening," President Iris Hoang-Dugan said.

Breaking News: Sponsor Jacob Lazarou, Secretary Shirley Doan, and Secretary Feliz De Jesus discuss the things to come. Doan and Jesus took their stand for waffles. "We believe that waffles is a better alternative than mini pancakes," Doan said.
NTLB Discussion Meeting
One, Two, Three, Go: Sophomore Marcos Coronado, sophomore Ashlyn Yencle, and junior Lisa Le audition for the senior class Talent Show. Coronado and Yencle sing their pieces as Le plays along on her guitar. "We were really nervous performing but it all worked out in the end," Coronado said.
