On Monday, February 11, sophomores gathered in the auditorium for a YES (Youth Equipped to Succeed) presentation from speaker Tory Gant. He shared personal stories of overcoming the death of his twenty brothers, the importance of self-worth, resilience, and managing stress. He encouraged students to use their voices, surround themselves with supportive people, and not let past struggles define them. The speech ended with a Q&A session where students could go up and take a picture with Gant.
