National Honor Society members were given the opportunity to volunteer and help out the staff at Douglas Smith Elementary School. They hosted their second STEM night on Thursday, February 6 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The STEM night was held to help students connect with staff and peers. Volunteers were given a choice to help out in a zipline activity, tower building station, or the food station. A group from NASA and the Houston Public Library were also there to give a presentation on events they will be having for parents and students.
