Juniors and Seniors were given a YES (Youth Equipped to Succeed) presentation in the mainstage theater on Friday, February 7 during first period. Guest speakers Keith Davis, a former pro football player, and his wife Sara Davis, a track runner, spoke about building healthy habits and relationships. They used analogies such as track running and how runners give the next runner the baton to convey their message. They also spoke on personal experiences to encourage students to stay committed to their dreams.

One chance, one pass: Sara Davis selects Georgio Tahtouh, Ife Taiwo, Iris Valdez, and Aryan Shoaei to demonstrate their analogy. Sara Davis speaks about how runners in a track race work efficiently to pass each other the baton. “You’re not born a winner or a loser,” Sara Davis said. “You’re born a chooser.”
