CO’26 Hosts Ice Cream Social

Endless Laughter Joy Kazeem, Natalia Sorto, Daniela Leal, Greydis Landaverde, Ashlyn Yencle, and Moises Zuniga, talk and share jokes over ice cream at the CO’26 ice cream social. With a big turnout, much of the ice cream supply was left empty. “My favorite part was socializing with my club,” Yencle said.

On Thursday, February 7 at 2:30 PM, the cafeteria was filled with students waiting for a scoop of ice cream at the Class of 2026’s ice cream social. From Napoleon to cookies and cream, attendees had a variety of flavors to enjoy served by the Class of 2026 officers. Up until 4 PM, all people who attended enjoyed a sweet treat, socialized with classmates, and had a good time.

NHS Volunteers at STEM Night
Hard At Work: Ashley Chavez and Katelyn Tieu sort through donated boxes. They scanned the donated goods to see if they were okay to keep, trash, or put in different categories. "It was a lot of work," Tieu said.
SFH Goes To Houston Food Bank
A Wonderful Speech: NHS officers Rebecca Oyeniyi and Muhammad Annas speak at the induction ceremony. They waited to start calling names and pass out the candles. "It went by really fast," Oyeniyi said.
NHS Hosts Induction Ceremony
Pie flies, teacher cries: Esai Alvear Moreno pies Band Director Nikola Nikolovski. In between the alphabet auction, students had a chance to pie one of the teachers. "We just wanted to have some fun, and it felt gratifying to pie him," Moreno said.

Unexpected Changes: President Manar Al-Gburi posts on Schoology about general meeting cancelation. She explains Field trip details. "There was only one officer available for this meeting because there was too much going on, especially with the NHS induction and the NHS meeting," Vice President Jenny Nguyen said.
