National Honor Society held an induction ceremony for new members on Monday, February 3. It was rescheduled multiple times, the last date being Thursday, January 23. Inductees along with their families and friends were in attendance. The ceremony lasted about 1 hour from 6 PM to 7 PM in the mainstage theater. NHS officers, Sponsor Toni Maness-Richards, Principal Sara Tones, and Teacher of the Year Meredith Freeman spoke during the ceremony, discussing the new NHS chapter at Kerr. Drinks and cake was served following the end of the ceremony.
