Choir students Adam Smart and Ryan Nguyen won a spot in the 6A TMEA All-State Choir. On January 12, Head Choir Director Vanessa Winslow announced that Smart and Nguyen will be in TMEA’s Tenor Bass Choir. Their achievement is a culmination of their hard work that started Summer 2024, spending months on their music and techniques. Almost eight months of hard work, their achievements make a prideful moment for Choir.
“They’ve had the music since June. They’ve gone to camps, and worked basically half a year on this music. So there’s district, region, pre-area, and then area. So 4 auditions to make for all-state choir and they were the top out of the whole entire state to get those spots. it’s a long and tedious process.” Winslow said.
