The Alief ISD Center hosted the LLD Scholars Scholarship and Career Fair on November 15, running from 9 AM to 2 PM. Kerr High School was scheduled to attend from 12:15 PM to 1:45 PM. Representatives from institutions such as the University of Missouri, Bethune-Cookman University, Miles College, Alabama A&M University, Truman State University, South Carolina State University, Morris College, Prairie View A&M University, Liberty University, Jackson State University, Grand Canyon University, Tougaloo College, ARMY ROTC, Wiley University, Lamar University, Houston Christian University, and many others were present. These colleges and organizations collectively offered up to $20 million in scholarship opportunities.
To attend the event, students were required to complete two forms: a permission slip and a personal information form. Upon completion, they received a folder containing two copies of their academic transcripts and two copies of their personal information form. This folder served as their primary tool when engaging with colleges about potential scholarships.
